CLO - FOUNDER

“Find a job you love and you’ll never work a day in your life.”

After a decade of leading landscaping crews and working as a foreman, CLo founded Rockland Garden. 

Born and raised in Quebec, she studied horticulture, stonework, and garden design before relocating to Victoria. 

With experience managing large estates and multi-acre properties across Southern Vancouver Island, including the revitalization of UVIC’s grounds, Clo brings expertise and dedication to every project. 

Known for her attention to detail, efficiency, and reliability, she ensures every job is completed to the highest standard.

In her spare time, CLo likes to tend to her vegetable garden, relax by the beach with a campfire & traveling through Asia over the Winter months.

BETHANY

TEAM LEAD

Bethany comes from a long line of horticulturalists, cultivating a deep passion for plants from an early age. After losing her job at the onset of the COVID-19 pandemic, she found solace and purpose in gardening, making a natural transition into a career in landscaping. 

After two years in the industry, Bethany decided to further her expertise by enrolling at the Pacific Horticulture College, located at the Horticultural Center of the Pacific. There, she earned her Level 2 Horticultural Technician certificate. During her training, Bethany discovered a special passion for native plants, edible landscapes, and design.

Originally from Melbourne, Australia, she moved to Victoria, BC in 2016 and has been dedicated to creating beautiful, sustainable landscapes ever since. Bethany is a passionate professional who takes immense pride in her work, always striving to blend aesthetic appeal with environmental responsibility.


CARA

LANDSCAPE TECHNICIAN

After transitioning from a background in biology to studying organic agriculture and business management, Cara embarked on a new career path in landscaping. Born in Quebec, Cara gained hands-on experience working on CSA farms and orchards before now dedicating herself to landscaping.

Over the past years, she has honed her skills, learning to balance efficiency with quality while thriving as a team player in the demanding outdoor environment. Cara is known for her strong work ethic and resilience, ensuring that every project is completed to the highest standards.

In her free time, Cara enjoys dance, aerial arts, and flow arts, which fuel her creativity and passion for movement.


MEAGHAN

SENIOR TECHNICIAN

After working in the landscape industry for over 10 years Meaghan relocated to Vancouver Island in 2024 to continue working in the field. Her love of the outdoors has grown through the years. She loves the constant learning curve this industry offers.

With a diploma in organic land care, she aims to work with best practices in mind and enjoys taking small courses and workshops to further develop in her trade.

Previously based in Vancouver, she specialized in small garden design and installation, focusing on creating vibrant, colorful landscapes with seasonal planters and garden designs. Meaghan takes great joy in using spring and summer annuals to bring dynamic texture and color to outdoor spaces, transforming gardens into lively works of art.

CALDER

LANDSCAPE TECHNICIAN

Calder, a marine biology and ocean science student at the University of Victoria, brings a deep passion for nature and a strong academic foundation to our landscaping team. Having grown up on Vancouver island, his appreciation for plants and nature is evident in every project he undertakes.

His academic background provides him with a keen understanding of natural ecosystems, allowing him to create landscapes that are not only vibrant but also environmentally sustainable. Calder’s commitment to both the environment and his craft ensures that each project highlights his true passion for nature.
